WIRELESS

The king of Single-Channel receivers. In cost:performance, the UCR411a beats essentially everything on the market. Heavy as sin, though.

An older transmitter with less strict power requirements than the UM400. Essentially the same in every way, except these usually transmit between 50-75mW. Built like tanks, these always get the job done.

MICROPHONES

A discontinued AKG Hypercardioid mic with excellent off-axis rejection. Sounds great indoors, runs a little quiet for those high intensity situations.

An oddball here, but I swear the Deity S Mic 2 punches leagues above its weight in outdoor scenarios. I’ve used it in tandem with CMITs and MKH416s without the post mixer noticing.

You know him, you love him. The Cos-11D is the go-to choice for a lav mic that just won’t quit. Sounds great, built to last, and easy to hide!

When the Sanken is too big to hide, the B3 shines. Slightly bigger than it’s B6 counterpart, this mic still sounds excellent in every situation, and tackles those difficult wardrobe situations.

An excellent mic that favors sound quality over durability. For any controlled situation where the mic won’t be in any danger, the 4060 does incredible work.

The perfect mic to beat up. Inexpensive and excellent sounding, this mic comes out when the situation demands some risk to the equipment. Almost completely waterproof, the TR50 excels in difficult scenes.

MONITORING & HOPPING

An excellent encrypted IFB that works flawlessly with the ZaxNet built into the Nomad. Sounds great, easy to use, decent range!

A modified version of the Sennheiser G3 to use SMA antennas for more reliable signal, and less drops. A true workhorse of the industry, these provide great quality audio as a scratch for Camera.
